Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a video game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. id Software owns the rights to the Wolfenstein title and series. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood released on May, 5, 2015 for Xbox, Playstation, and PC. The game includes a singleplayer campaign that is action packed and challenging.
The campaign is about William Joseph Blazkowicz infiltrating a Nazi castle with his partner Wesley on the behalf of the O.S.A. to steal a folder with intel on the location of Deathshead's Compound so they can end World War II. Deathshead is manufacturing unstoppable killing machines which is why the Allies are losing the war. Blazkowicz and Wesley disguise themselves as Nazi officers to infiltrate Castle Wolfenstein. They take a cable car to the castle and make their way to Helga Von Schabbs' office which contains the folder. Blazkowicz and Wesley successfully make it to the office but the folder is not there. Nazis arrive to stop them, but Blazkowicz kills all of them. Blazkowicz and Wesley escape from the office, but are caught and knocked out by a super soldier. They are then taken to the prison by Rudi Jager, Helga's second in command. Blazkowicz wakes up to find himself and Wesley inside of a prison cell. Wesley gets taken out of the cell for interrogation. Blazkowicz takes a metal pipe and climbs his way out of the prison cell. He then stealthily makes his way through the prison killing many super soldiers and dogs. Blazkowicz then takes a boat to the docks and kills all of the Nazis on the way. He then fights his way through the docks to make it to the keep. Blazkowicz makes it to Wolfenstein Keep where Wesley is being held. He then kills all of the Nazis in the keep and makes his way to Wesley's location. Wesley has been tortured by Rudi for information but he hasn't broken yet. The technique is "Count to four, inhale, count to four, exhale." But Rudi comes into the chamber and electrocutes Blazkowicz and Wesley. Rudi feeds Wesley to his dog Greta and puts Blazkowicz in the electric chair. Rudi electrocutes Blazkowicz in the chair to torture him for information on who is their contact in the village. Blazkowicz does not break but breaks out of the chair to stab Rudi in the chest with his metal pipe and kill his dog Greta. Rudi gets away alive and orders his soldiers to kill Blazkowicz. Blazkowicz then procedes to kill all of the Nazis in the chamber. He then closes Wesley's eyes and apologizes to him for not being able to save him. Blazkowicz then takes a cable car to the village to meet up with their contact, Kessler. Blazkowicz fights his way through the caves and kills all of the Nazis along the way. He successfully makes it to the village tavern and meets up with Kessler. The Nazis then attack the tavern and Blazkowicz kills all of them. Rudi enters the tavern with an armored power suit armed with machine guns, but Blazkowicz kills him. Blazkowicz the makes his way to Wulfburg to meet up with Agent 2 to aquire information on the location of Helga's folder. Helga is in the village tavern with the folder and Blazkowicz disguises himself as a waiter to blend in with the tavern so he can steal the folder. The plan does not go well and Helga figures out that Blazkowicz is a spy. There is an explosion at the digsite and causes the roof to fall on Blazkowicz knocking him out. Helga goes to the digsite taking the folder with her. Blazkowicz wakes up and is on his way to meet up with Kessler. He runs into zombies along the way which came from the digsite. Agent 2 gets infected and Blazkowicz has to put an end to her misery. Blazkowicz manages to save Kessler from the zombies but is unable to save Annette and she gets infected. He puts an end to her misery. Blazkowicz then makes his way to the digsite and kills all of the Nazis and zombies along the way. He enters the digsite and finds Helga. Helga summons the giant monster but the monster is on no one's side and throws Helga. Blazkowicz manages to kill the monster by shooting it until it died. He kills Helga to make sure that she doesn't do anything supernatural to make the war worse. Blazkowicz obtains the folder but a rock falls on him knocking him out. His friend Fergus saves him and they on the way back to base to bring the folder. They now have the location of Deathshead's Compound and the mission is complete.
